Pricing
Start with self-serve credits, then move to an annual platform agreement when extraction becomes part of your product. Credits are charged when processing leaves a usable result or retrievable extracted fields. Test-mode documents, files blocked before processing, documents blocked because another page cannot be covered, and terminal processing errors that leave neither a usable result nor retrievable extracted fields have zero net paid usage.
Credit packages
Generic extraction uses one credit for each billable started 10-page band and keeps the final total when a usable result or retrievable extracted fields remain. Specialized profiles can use a documented higher per-band rate. Buy a package or enable auto top-up with a saved Stripe payment method, trigger balance, and monthly limit. Prices exclude applicable tax.

For active teams running regular extraction workflows.
For higher-volume processing with fewer billing interruptions.
For sustained production workflows processing thousands of documents.
For high-volume integrations that need a lower predictable unit cost.
Platform and OEM
For DMS, archive, ERP, and embedded workflows, committed-use pricing replaces repeated top-ups with one annual allowance shared across the account. Optional overage keeps production running instead of creating a hard monthly cutoff.
Unit rates are quoted against your document mix and page distribution, then fixed for the agreement term. Volume Plus is the published ceiling; a platform commitment prices below it.
For larger deployments that need a negotiated pooled commitment and overage, invoice billing, support coverage, security review, or service commitments.
Credit model
Credits are tied to completed extraction work, not seats. A standard unit includes the upload, processing, normalized JSON result, status flow, webhook context, and up to 10 document pages.
exdata applies the selected profile's per-band rate to live processing and calculates the final total from the page count. The total is charged when a usable result or retrievable extracted fields remain. Specialized profile rates are documented separately. A terminal processing error returns the credits when neither remains.
